About us

The Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung is an internationally operating non-profit organisation for civic education affiliated with Germany’s Left Party (DIE LINKE). It is a discussion forum for progressive political alternatives and a centre for critical thinking and research both in Germany and throughout the world. The Brussels Office operates as a think tank reflecting on European and international issues affecting contemporary society.

The Brussels Office of the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung is calling for applications for a framework contract for the provision of professional image material for the period from 01 October 2026 to 31 December 2027 (in the event of good cooperation, the possibility of renewing the contract exists). The framework contract may be terminated by either party with three months’ written notice. For more details on the (monthly) scope of images to be purchased, the desired quality standards and image licensing rights, please refer the price list below.

About you

We are looking for providers offering a large, diverse and high-quality repertoire of professional visual material, including stock and editorial photography as well as graphics and illustrations.

As a politically left-wing foundation with a global focus, we primarily use images relating to current political, social, economic and ecological issues worldwide. We therefore particularly welcome providers whose collections offer strong and up-to-date coverage of political and social developments across different world regions, including Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East and North Africa, as well as Europe and North America.

The available repertoire should enable us to visually represent global issues and perspectives in a diverse, context-sensitive and non-stereotypical manner. This includes images depicting political movements and protests, social and economic inequality, labour and trade unions, migration, democracy and human rights, feminism and gender justice, anti-racism, climate and environmental justice, peace and conflict, international solidarity and other issues relevant to our work.
