Details

The far right is on the rise worldwide – in parliaments, on the streets, and in society. Antifeminism, racism, austerity, and authoritarianism are gaining ground, while progressive forces are often on the defensive. Nevertheless, resistance is also being organized locally and internationally, in practice and in solidarity.

From March 27 to 30, 2025, the Good Night, Far Right conference brought together activists, parliamentarians, and organizations from various regions of the world to Berlin. The focus was an exchange about strategies against the far right, analyzing global connections between extreme right actors, and jointly searching and developing left-wing answers and viable alternatives.

This page documents the conference with photos, videos, interviews, materials, and contributions. In the coming months, we will edit different content and upload them here as well.

The moment we live in demands action: This is why the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation intends to continue organizing events in the "Good Night, Far Right" series – to bring activists together and strengthen internationalist counter-strategies. Stay tuned!

Referent*innen:

  • Danai Koltsida (Nea Aristera, Griechenland)
  • Denise Simeão (PSOL, Brasilien)
  • Veronika Mendoza (Nuevo Perú, Peru)
  • Malte Engler (Kampagne AfD-Verbot, Deutschland)
  • Moderation: Krunoslav Stojakovic (Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung, Berlin)
