The Institute for Marxist Studies (IMAST) is joining forces with national and international partners for the first edition of the Marxist Summer School in Bredene, Belgium.
The Marxist Summer School brings together people who want to understand the world in order to change it. We offer trainings, workshops, and lectures on Marxism. Because we believe that such an analytical framework is more relevant than ever. From the basics of Marxism, the class struggle today, to clashing world balances and the threat of war: no topic is too much for us. At the Marxist Summer School, we collectively train people to fight even better and more enthusiastically for a better world.
With contributions from: Jonis Ghedis Alasow (South Africa), Christine Olivier (South Africa), Ulrike Eifler (Germany), Marga Ferré (Spain), Alex Gordon (United Kingdom), Peter Mertens (Belgium) and more!
A free opening lecture will be held on 6 July (19:00–21:00): Socialism, not war: for a Europe of peace. With Peter Mertens (Belgium), Marga Ferré (Spain), Ulrike Eifler (Germany), Jörg Kronauer (Germany).
The Marxist Summer School is an initiative of IMAST in cooperation with transform! europe, Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Brussels, International Peoples’ Assembly, Tricontinental Institute, and Lava Media.
