12 September 2025: Discussion/Lecture : Solidarity Will Win

In cooperation with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, We’ll Come United invites you to an evening dedicated to the victories of anti-racist struggles at the borders, in the camps, and in our communities. Featuring diverse inputs, conversations, the film Moving Europe, and the exhibition “10 Views on Migration”.

Ten years after the March of Hope and the so-called “summer of migration”, the situation for people on the move has deteriorated dramatically. Racist border regimes have been expanded, human rights restricted, and far-right extremists emboldened throughout Europe. We’ll Come United is part of a transnational movement for freedom of movement and equal rights for everyone. From 20–27 September 2025, the We’ll Come United Caravan will trek from Thuringia via Saxony and Brandenburg to Berlin.

Together with our guests we will look back on past successes, talk about the situation we face now, and discuss approaches for the future. We’ll remember the summer of migration ten years ago and the refugees’ long struggle from 2011 to 2020: the occupation of O-Platz and the Gerhard Hauptmann School in Berlin, Lampedusa Hamburg, Welcome2stay and Alarmphone, Marches of Hope and Welcome United, #unteilbar and welcoming culture.

In the spirit of a utopian memory and in light of the massive onslaught against the migration society, we invite all pro-migrant and anti-racist initiatives and actors to build on the strength of past alliances.

The evening will be accompanied musically by sound designer, video- and photographer Aria Khalil.
