In den vergangenen Jahren führten die drastische Ungleichheit und wachsende Prekarität zum Aufstieg neuer sozialer Bewegungen und eines linken Populismus, aber auch zu einem politischen Rückschlag und Neofaschismus. In diesem Gespräch wollen wir diskutieren, wie es zum Aufstieg der radikalen Rechten kam und mit welchen effektiven Strategien die Linke zur Verteidigung demokratischer Institutionen und marginalisierter Menschen und zugleich eine eigene proaktive Vision einer gerechten Gesellschaft für alle entwickeln kann.

In recent years, extreme inequality and increasing precarity have given rise to new social movements and left populism in the US, but also to backlash politics and neofascism. In this conversation, we will discuss the rise of the far right and effective strategies for how the left can defend democratic institutions and marginalized people, while asserting an own proactive vision for a just society for all.
