Description
Stories of Solidarity challenges us to rethink movement—not just as physical, but as a transformative tool for navigating change. Inspired by Kyrgyzstan's nomadic traditions of resilience, this exhibition explores displacement, cultural erasure, and the forces shaping movement. Through art forms like painting, sculpture, film, and performance, global artists share their perspectives on the topic of movement and international solidarity, fostering empathy in a divided world. At its core, Kyrgyz nomadism teaches us that movement embraces change, uncertainty, and adaptation. In this exhibition, we imagine a world where solidarity transcends borders. The event features the German premiere of the short film AK JOL – Open Road, a German-Kyrgyz collaboration. With installations, live performances, and discussions, this exhibition connects Bishkek and Berlin, inviting audiences to explore a nomadic perspective and foster solidarity.
