Description

Organizing For Power’s Power Up

Organizing for Power is an online training program that teaches organizing methods and campaign strategies to groups seeking to win righteous justice in this world on fire. Since 2019, O4P has trained more than 45,000 people from 2,100+ organizations in 120 countries. O4P is proud to count the International Trade Union Confederation and many other global organizations as partners.

Power-Up is O4P’s newest program, taking place across 4 sessions, starting on 18 & 20 November and concluding on 2 & 4 December (or the following mornings in Asia-Pacific). Between Sessions 2 and 3, there will be a gap week in which your organizing group will be expected to meet to complete a homework assignment.

Each Power-Up session will last two hours, and will be run twice for our global audience. Click on the following links to find the Session 1 Track A start time and Track B start time wherever you live.

For those who have taken O4P’s Core Fundamentals, Power-Up will feel at once familiar and fresh. The core methods taught will remain the same, but the format, presentation and assignments will be updated to reflect the urgency of the moment we are living through on this planet that we share. Participants will emerge from the program with enhanced organizing skills plus the tools to build a credible plan to win, no matter what your campaign or where you live.

The registration deadline is November 10th, and registration is free and open to all groups of 10 people or more. If your group is ready, you can register now after filling out your participant information using this template.

Power-Up will be run in English with interpretation to Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, Cantonese, French, German, Hausa, Hindi, Portuguese, Spanish, and Ukrainian.
