Description
Progressives are facing tough electoral tests in the UK, the US, Austria and Germany. In an age of insecurity - with the escalating climate crisis, the rise of the extreme right, increasing international tensions and armed conflicts in Ukraine, Israel-Palestine, Sudan and elsewhere - progressives must protect liberal democracy from the growing threat of right-wing extremism.
At the Progressive Governance Summit 2024, we will discuss a comprehensive concept of progressive security together with leading intellectuals, activists and policy makers. In over 20 different sessions, we will discuss the dimensions of progressive security - from peace and war to climate and environmental (in)security to everyday material security.
Right after the European elections, over 1000 international guests from think tanks, politics and civil society will come together from 21 to 22 June at Europe's largest conference for progressive politics in Berlin.
