News , : Join the Rosa Luxemburg Solidarity Brigade to Cuba

Our contribution to strengthening friendship between peoples and international solidarity

Details

The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, in collaboration with the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), is organizing the First Rosa Luxemburg Solidarity Brigade to Cuba, which will take place from 11 to 27 February 2026.

The Solidarity Brigade strives to strengthen the bonds of friendship and solidarity among peoples. As part of the centenary celebrations for Comandante Fidel Castro, we invite young left-wing activists aged between 18 and 35 who live in Europe and want to learn about the reality of the Cuban people and the Cuban revolutionary project as it withstands the effects of the blockade imposed on the island by the United States. During the Brigade, participants will have the opportunity to take part in conferences, discussions, presentations, and meetings on the revolutionary project and its institutions,  perform volunteer work, and get to know schools, institutions, and government projects.

Applications will be accepted until Friday, 21 November 2025. All further information and eligibility requirements for participation can be found in German and English in the PDFs linked at the bottom of this page. The Spanish-language application can be found on the website of our regional office in Mexico.
