Details

This booklet offers a first mapping of feminist initiatives and organizations in the countries of the former Yugoslavia that situate their political practice within the tradition of antifascist struggle. Rather than a comprehensive overview, it foregrounds situated feminist knowledge, highlighting practices that connect local struggles with transnational solidarities.

Drawing on the historical legacy of the Antifascist Front of Women and the feminist antiwar movements of the 1990s, the publication presents contemporary initiatives that engage antifascism as a living political practice. Through archives, cultural work, activism, and education, these organizations challenge militarism, nationalism, patriarchy, and capitalism—demonstrating the continuing relevance of feminist antimilitarist politics in Europe today.
