Speaking to Harpreet Kaur Paul, the vice-president of progressive think tank Data for Progress explores the long history of Indigenous resistance to land colonialism, including the protests at Standing Rock.
He also argues that the Indigenous experience of genocide as an apocalyptic event has produced forms of knowledge that could help humanity adapt to climate breakdown.
