“Not our World Cup!”

The 2022 Men’s World Cup will take place in Qatar — a country where homosexuals and the entire LGBTIQ community are persecuted, women are discriminated against, freedom of expression is suppressed and millions of migrant workers are exploited under slave-like conditions. During our Reclaim the Game Speakers’ Tour, which travelled through various cities in Germany from 18 to 29 September 2022, migrant workers, human rights activists and trade unionists reported on their experiences on the construction sites in Qatar and their struggle for better living and working conditions.
