Famed organizer and educator Jane McAlevey passed away on 7 July 2024, following a long struggle with cancer. In this video, the Organizing for Power team pays tribute to Jane’s life, legacy, and contributions to organizing everywhere.
O4P is a global training programme that teaches the core fundamentals of organizing. Founded in 2019 and led by Jane until her passing, Organizing for Power has trained more than 40,000 people from 1,800+ organizations in 115 countries in the skills and methods needed to win more and better in the most important struggles of our time. In accordance with her wishes, the O4P team intends for the continuation of this free programme to be our own small contribution to Jane’s wide-reaching legacy.
