Societies dominated by the capitalist mode of production are in constant change. The state of social struggles is conditioned by the inherent inequality. Without strong social movements and class struggles, inequality takes on dramatic proportions. Thus it is crucial to look at the transformations and crises of capitalist development, their history and the present or the related shifts in the balance of power. The Stiftung concentrates on to the development of new and old left and emancipative forces.
