Eduard Fuchs

– Social Democratic and Communist politician; historian of art and culture; provided financial and organisational support to Rosa Luxemburg and the Spartacus Group during the First World War; joined the USPD in 1917; courier for Rosa Luxemburg to Lenin; founding member of the KPD, later converted to the KPD opposition (KPDO); administrator of Franz Mehring’s estate and publisher of his writings; emigrated in 1933.
