– member of staff at the intelligence division of the Foreign Office of the German Empire during World War I; member of the People’s Naval Division from 11 November 1918; occupied the city palace – in accordance with the People’s Deputies – on 13 November 1918 and arrested looters; commander of the People’s Navy Division from 26 November to 7 December 1918, removed under suspicion of participating in the coup attempt of 6 December 1918; subsequently left Berlin and disappeared.
