Kurt Rosenfeld

1877–1943

– Social Democratic politician; together with Rosa Luxemburg, taught at the party school of the SPD in Berlin from 1906-1910; one of Luxemburg’s defense lawyers; member of the USPD from 1917; became the Prussian Minister of Justice in 1918; member of the Reichstag from 1920 to 1932; co-chairman of the SAPD (Socialist Workers’ Party of Germany) alongside Heinrich Ströbel and Max Seydewitz; emigrated in 1933.
