Richard Müller

– Social Democratic and Communist politician; one of Berlin’s leading Revolutionary Shop Stewards from 1916; affiliation to the USPD in 1917; represented the Revolutionary Shop Stewards in the Executive Council of the Workers’ and Soldiers’ Councils of Greater Berlin, alongside Emil Barth, Ernst Däumig, Paul Eckert, Georg Ledebour, Paul Neuendorf, and Paul Wegmann, from 11 November 1918 on; chairman of the Executive Council; 1920-1924 KPD; subsequently became a landlord and housing developer.
