Corinna Bender, born in 1989 in Basel, Switzerland, grew up near Frankfurt and in the southern regions of Germany, within the tri-border area of Switzerland, France, and Germany. She earned a B.A. in Social Work from Würzburg and later completed her academic journey with an M.A. in Intercultural Conflict Management from Alice Salomon University in Berlin. West Asia has always been a focal point of her interests, leading her to spend several years immersed in the region and building up her expertise for that part of the world.
