Organizing for Power
Launched in 2019, Organizing for Power (O4P) has since become one of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation’s most successful online event series in our international work. More than 27,000 people from around 130 countries have already taken part in at least one of the programme’s various formats, established by the foundation together with the US labour organizer and writer Jane McAlevey.
The programme offers beginners’ and advanced courses for organizers and those interested in organizing, as well as the show What Winning Looks Like, which highlights exemplary fights and campaigns. The courses offer plenty of space to practice different methods of organizing through breakout rooms and fishbowls, and are translated into numerous languages including Arabic, French, German, Hindi, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.
