Britta Petersen

Britta Petersen is a philosopher, journalist and South Asia expert. Before taking over the RLS office in Delhi in March 2024, she was a senior fellow at the Indian think tank Oberserver Research Foundation (ORF), office manager of the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Pakistan and South Asia correspondent for the Financial Times Deutschland (FTD) based in Kabul and Delhi. In Afghanistan, she founded the Initiative Freie Presse (IFP) e.V. to train local journalists.
