– Petty officer second class in the airforce; co-founder of the People’s Naval Division; commander of the Berlin Marstall until 8 January 1919, member of the “Committee of Five” (i.e. staff) of the People’s Naval Division together with Heinrich Dorrenbach, Adolph Hillebrandt, Emil Milewski, and Wilhelm Friedrich Rädel; responsible for security at the city palace.
