The Foundation for Marxist Studies was founded in December 1978 as the cultural foundation of the Communist Party of Spain. It’s aiming on studies, seminars, debates, the establishment of libraries, documentation centres and publications, to promote development aid. It is supporting all kinds of activities and initiatives in the fields of culture, science and international cooperation by which Marxism as a theoretical and political movement for the emancipation of man and woman, international solidarity and the transformation of the society is inspired.
